Working with young horses is a bit of a specialty of mine. My current “crew” consists of Nutmeg (6yo Welsh Cob), Marcella (6yo Gypsy Cob x) and the 3x rising 4yo’s, Peronel, Echo & Sassy!
Nutmeg (left) was my inspiration for Young Horse Social Club, I was looking for somewhere to take her for a low-fuss first outing when the idea of hosting a monthly Social Club for riders of young horses to all get together was born.
Over a year, and many Social Days later it’s still going strong! In fact, we’ve recently added Young Horse Schooling Days to the calendar too, for riders with horses that are already comfortable with going places and arena riding. Riders who are ready to start educating their horses under saddle, and are looking for a system to follow to establish all the basics.
The final piece of the puzzle is the all new Young Horse Confidence Club which is a complete Coaching Program allowing riders to work with me on a personal level to be guided along their journey from young and green to “going” adult horse.
